Disable automatic theming of controls

Is there a way or property on the ApplicationBar that disabled the auto-theming of all controls added to the ApplicationBar?

I have added my own button. I do not want it to be drawn into a predefined circle.
I also want to remove the predefined applied colors which is the params.Manager.AccentBrush.

If it is not possible yet, it would be great to have a property at the control level.

Also, I have added a region at the bottom of my window to show it automatically. I set the IsOpen property to true. It would have been nice to have a parameter that tells if we want the mouse to be captured or not. When I show the ApplicationBar manually, I do not want the mouse to be captured. I had to add a few events to handle all this and make it work as I wish.

Thank you

  1. "Circle" button is a standard style for application bar controls. It can't be changed.
  2. You can apply any brush with any color to params:Manager.AccentBrush, not only Elysium.AccentBrushes.***Brush
  3. Mouse capturing: see documentation about ApplicationBar.StaysOpen property
